This is a reminder to high school and college Cross Country coaches to make your reservations at Camp Tuscazoar for your XC summer team training camp in 2026! The word is out, and more teams than ever are holding their training camp at Tuscazoar. Last year we had a record 10 high school XC Teams stayed with us. Please note that we now offer Kimble Dining Hall and Kimble Kitchen for only $150 a day! Our cabin rental rates are a fraction of what you will find at state parks.

New for 2026 – we have created a new partnership for XC teams camping with us this year with Tall Timbers Resorts! This will allow your team to go swimming, putt putt golfing, and zip lining. Please contact Jamie Herron at Tall Timbers 330-602-4000 to make reservations and for discount details.

Trail info – the Zoar Valley Trail is the trail that runs in front of Dover Dam, and it is perfectly suited for a team run. It has been improved and is now about 10 feet wide and has a machine packed level limestone grit surface. The trail now resembles a trail that you would expect to see in a national park and your team can run 4 or 5 with no trip hazards. The portion that goes through our camp is approximately 3 miles long and runs in a straight line with zero elevation gain or loss – (no hills). The trail connects to the Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail at nearby State Route 800 and it can be followed into Bolivar and then goes nonstop all the way to Lake Erie in Cleveland. The trail is shown by red line in the image below.
